Custom-drawn Scandium alloy tubing makes the pivotless Dos Niner possible. Scandium’s increased fatigue life allows the specially- shaped chainstays to withstand the flex cycles that would cause other materials to fail. The Relish air shock delivers one inch of rear wheel travel, which is just enough to take the edge off things when combined with the extra smoothness provided by the 29" wheels. With clearance for 2.3" tires, the Dos Niner rolls on as a formidable off-road machine…light enough for XC racing…comfortable enough for off-road endurance events.
